Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales  

Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales was printed in 1478 by William Caxton, England’s finest printer. The text is set in Batarde with handlettered heads and initials. Both Chaucer and Caxton are credited with having a major influence on the growth and structure of the English language.
