Project. Design History Poster

Purpose. To create an international student assignment once a year for educators around the world. This project is organized by the Teaching Designers Network (TDN) and the results are presented annually on the web, thus allowing students and educators to get in contact with one another to compare their designs in the context of their unique cultures and views. For additional information please visit: http://tdn.freie-hochschule-freiburg.de

Assignment. The first TDN-project - Design History Poster - was for design students at all levels. Students could work alone or as a team of two. Deadline was in August 2004.

Step 3. Design a 'History Poster' which includes the name and the visual language of your selected Designer. Presentation: Show your work after a final critic as a print out and on the TDN web address of your school. Check partner schools for "Design History Poster."

Format. DIN A3 (approx. 12 X 16 inches) and DIN A2 (approx.16 X 23 inches)
